How Can Teenagers Get Involved?
The Youth Ministry at FBC Walnut Ridge seeks to Worship God, Love People, and Serve Both by helping students in 7th-12th grades develop and continue a personal walk with God. A youth class meets every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM, and afterwards students worship with the rest of the church family at 10:45 AM in the sanctuary. Sunday nights from 5:30-7:30 PM youth meet in at John's house for a time of hangout and discipleship.
On Wednesday nights youth meet for a meal at 6:00 PM followed by a worship service designed specifically for students. The youth praise band leads in worship through song, which is followed by a time of teaching in God's Word. After gathering together as a large group for worship and teaching, youth break up into small groups led by adult leaders to discuss the Bible passage they studied during the worship service.
